Making learning fun and easy for students

Feedback from teachers goes a long way in reaffirming the value addition of educational DVDs. Biology teachers for instance, find the lessons on Cells, Fertilization and Photosynthesis to be well illustrated, with the graphics and explanations most appropriate for students. Geography is another subject which middle-school students find fascinating as they work on key concepts like rotation and revolution of the Earth; the 3-D effects and graphics makes the subject come alive and students are able to see on the screen how the Earth rotates and revolves. Due to the 3-D visualization with graphics and narration these contents get maximum attention from the students.

Various companies offer online and offline products like DVD’s/CD’s.  Leading learning companies like Pearson. for example, offers its products through Edurite.com where it provides self-paced curriculum based learning, and offers rich multimedia contents, worksheets and practice questions with video.

Thanks to evolving theories about education and the power of technology and the Internet, education is truly becoming more interactive and student-centred. When I see what my daughter learns at school, and more importantly, how she learns it, I really wish that I could go back to school again!
