Vegetable Colada


These recipes are so wholesome yet easy to follow, that you can count on your tween or teen to reach for these instead of packaged junk food!

What you need

  • small beetroot
  • medium sized carrots
  • tablespoons each of lemon juice, honey and water

What to do
Chop the beetroot and carrots into small pieces. Add water, and grind in a blender jar to a pulp. Filter, then add lemon juice and honey. Stir well and serve cold. Rich in vitamin A and iron, this drink does the rest of your body as much good as it does your taste buds!
